I do mine on the printer, three to a sheet, then take them to quick print to have the whole stack cut into strips that just fit around the bars of soap. If I am doing less than a hundred, I just cut them with a paper cutter at home. I use a glue stick when I wrap them around the bar. I've worked the lable out so there is a front, side and back printing.
I make cigar band like labels. I use fine laser paper; ivory, 32 lb from Staples. The ink from my printer does not leak through, they look professional and provide a nice smooth finish.
I have five to a sheet cross wise, which I cut by a paper cutter.
Since mine are in color, taking to a printer place was not an option.
I tried to upload a picture, hopefully it will work. If not see my site at Front-Page
MS Word has a label printing feature which alows to to pick from a huge selection of label brands & sizes or even make custom sizes. After that, just plug in your graphics and text.
I'll also include a tag listing ingredients.I usually print 10 to a page on stiff paper or photo paper - then just cut them...Here's the front and back.
