Has anyone purchase/had any luck with Penney's Cooks brand kitchen appliances? My 20 year old food processor bit the dust. They have a 7 cup food processor for $39.99. $$ are very tight right now. However, I don't want to waste $$ if it's a piece of junk.

That's about the same price as Hamilton-Beach, and Black & Decker.

We have an 20+yo GE that is still going strong - paid about $25-30.
But the tiny B&D mini-chopper is almost in daily use and cost $10-12.

If price were no object, the Cuisinart's seem to get top ratings.

Know nothing about Cooks brand products.
