Thank you Shar, this probablyis my most favorite of your stories...raised by my grandmother and always in the company of those of her age group I also attended the quilting b's and at an early age, probably no more than 8 I was asked to join in..I often wondered if those stitches made were taken out when I wasn't in the room..doubt it though...how many days I remember our living room set up with a quilt and having to come to and fro under the quilt..

Sorry I didn't answer sooner, but we were 9 days without electricity, and I have only had it now for about an hour. My house is up to 52, though, so things are looking much better! I am so glad to be back in my own house, under my own quilts!
