Hi, I planted some heirloom tomatoes last year. They were fun and different but kind of disappointing in yields. I'm going to plant more along with a few hybrids for backup. Just wondering what are the advantages of heirloom and why do you plant them as opposed to hybrids? Don't be mad at me for asking. I'm just not educated about them, yet.
