    I noticed you said you were dealing with clay soil. What did you use to 'amend' the soil for planting.
    Your plants look so healthy and large.

    To amend a clay soil, I mix compost with coarse sand (sand with small stone) every spring or automn and it's help a lot. Sorry for my language
