I am so glad I found this forum! I am crazy about rocks, not jewels. But I'm dumb as a rock when it comes to I.D.'s. Maybe someone will be kind enough to tell me the correct names for this rock with quartz growing out of it. Every time my DH turns over a rock (make that small boulders) in our yard, there's quartz on them. At least it looks like quartz to this ol' Gal.
