I bought "Alabama Oxeyes" or "Alabama Oxeye Daisies" in Mobile at the annual spring festival a few years ago. It's a delightful plant that blooms all summer in the heat, and I assume it's a chrysanthemum but I don't know. Can anyone tell me exactly what this plant is?
I googled, and it looks like this name is associated with Heliopsis helianthoides. I've got a subspecies of this in my garden (var. scabra), and it's one of my favorites!
