I am sitting here looking out at the snow and wishing spring would get here so I could start with my AVs, hoyas, begonia, and episcia. In the meantime I mix potting mixes for each, and clean pots, and get things ready. I am a great labeler, so it's all labeled. I thoroughly enjoy my new plant stand with lights; I think I'm going to need another light for that spare shelf :-).
I have been looking at the AV rings in my magazine they use for show. I decided to try something different. I had 4" round plastic canvas pieces which I cut up one side to the center, then cut about an inch circle around. I then repotted a leaning AV and put the ring under it. It looks great on the entry table light which stays on all the time, mostly. Time will tell if this works, but it sounded good to me. Bye from white Oregon.
