Great plants to highlight, Jill. The Not chocolate daisy is, as you say, a great flower. I love the deep green leaves and how it stays in bloom with no care. The chocolate daisy flower has really interesting geometry, hard to catch in a picture, but neat to examine up close. I had the same problem getting those seeds--I hope my baby survives winter. Thanks for sharing the story with general readership and the plants with me!

:-)

Thanks for your tireless efforts to figure out its actual name! I still call it "Not-Chocolate-Daisy" in my own head, LOL.

LOL!

Less true for "Ox-Eye," eh?

Yeah--I already had an "OxEye' so I can't use that! And even in my creative moments, have never thought out a cute shorthand for Heliopsis helianthoides var scabra LOL

Yep, that sure is a mouthful!

If Rachel Ray can use EVOO, then maybe we can use HHVS? No, I don't think that would work, LOL.
