Hi, a member of my garden club is apprenticing to an old professional grafter. That grafter has a batch of grafted Japanese maple trees, grafted in '07, that he wants to get rid of. They are between 12 inches to 3 ft, depending on if they are dwarf or not, and I can get them to y'all for $20 plus shipping. I'm still finding out the numbers available, but at the last check, these were the varieties.
green cascade
orido nishiki
oregon sunset
peaches and cream
ukigumo
verdis
elmwoodie
autumn moon
akita yatsubusa
bonfire
corallinium
crimson queen
sango kaku
fireglow
Right now, I'm just checking if anyone would be interested. I'm guessing these may sell out quickly, as he approached several people before I found out about it. If I do this, I will likely have everything settled by Sunday, as to orders. I have paypal, but I have never done a co-op before. I plan on buying 5 of these myself, and thought it was such a great deal, I'd pass it on for all the wonderful advice I've gotten here. Since time is very low and I don't know how many are available yet, I didn't want to put this in the co-op section.
D-mail me if you are interested with the name and amounts, and I'll check if that is available. If they are, I'll take payment for the plants, and bill for the shipping once the plants are here.
Sincerely, LJ
edited to say $20 each. These normally got for $45 and up. Most have pictures here in the database, but buchholz & buchholtz has many of them pictured in their webpage, although these are NOT coming from them.
