Has anyone tried to print the clear address labels on their computer for use on metal plant markers. I had read of this "somewhere" and tried it. It looks great for about 1 month; then the printing faded away, either from rain or sun. I have heard of others doing this successfully...so does it need a special ink?...afraid I am not too knowledgable on computers/printers.

There was a co-op last year for special labels that would last outside. You might want to look that up and see what folks said. I remember there were a lot of comments about what worked and what didn't.

The only ones I know of you need a lazer printer and waterproof labesl.

Works well as some of mine on the wholesale pots are about 2-3 years old and like they were printed yesterday.
