First of all, we have Mike who's having a heart cath tomorrow. I just wanted to let you know, Mike, that you'll be in my thoughts and prayers. I understand that fremar will help to keep us posted on your progress so we won't worry. Thanks fremar! :)

Next, we have a couple of new Grandma's. mon on ... y'all do tell all. I'm thinking I saw 3? :)

We also have our RU coming up. Now I'm not trying to compete with BB's thread ... but mon ... let's talk about what we're planting and doing? Does anyone have some news they'd like to share?

I'll go first. I can't remember what I've told where, so if I'm repeating myself just forgive me. So far I've planted 20 varieties of heirloom tomatoes of which 8 have come up, 2 of cucumbers, zucchini, 5 types of peppers and I still need to get my potatoes in. I'm running late with them. I just found them last week-end at the stores here and was planning to do them this week-end but we finally got some rain so I'm not going to complain. I'll be planting my beans around the 1st week in March since I plant in Earth Boxes. I think the soil temp will be warmer than in the ground, and if it turns cold again, I can rig up a way to cover them.

What is everyone else up to? Did anyone lose any prized plants? Have a new dog? A new car? Maybe you lost your job or are like Donna and are getting a new business off the ground? I brought sweet tea and lemon ade if you want something while you stop and chat. :-)
~Susan
