I recently ordered a Kent boar bristle hairbrush from england and every time I brush my hair it's super staticy. Is there anything I can use? I don't want to use the Static Guard that comes in the can since this goes in my hair.
Try spraying a small amount of hairspray on the brush before using. Also rub a small amount of hand cream on your hands and lightly run your fingers through your hair... small amount and rub into your hands quite well.
Use marrocan oil, just a small amount rub on your fingertips and run it through your hair. Don't use too much a drop is enough and your hair will be shiny and without static pretty much all day. You can buy small travel size bottles to carry with you in your purse in case you need to reapply during the day. It is also a great product for detangling hair after your hair wash. Apply into towel dried hair and comb through.
