Thank you, Todd. One question - you went from Newfoundland to Greenland, or the other way around?

Thanks for this wonderful article. I too love these arctic plants. Most of them (though not all) grow here in Iceland. People here often wonder why I walk with my head facing down here in the uplands of Reykjavik instead of watching the beautiful mountain wiews all around. Look forwards to the second article on your visit to Greenland. (Didnīt you first have to go from New Foundland to Greenland before you went from Greenland to New Foundland?)

I flew to Greenland in a milk run from St. John's to Ottawa, then to Baffin Island and finally to Greenland. The expedition ship went from Greenland across the Strait to northern Labrador then south along Labrdaor to end in St. John's. It took 10 days.

Maggah - that really is what my question was; now I understand. Thanks to both!
