My Dad had the carnosa (I think) gave my sister and I cuttings. Hers is huge and growing well and flowering. Mine has been cut back several times and I rooted some cuttings a couple of years ago.
Took them to Spain and stuffed them in the ground against a Brezo (brushwood) fence and they survived. Now they have had a year to get their roots established, I am waiting with interest to see if they respond (i.e. grow like crazy) as all my other cuttings have done...
