Wow, there are sooo many plants that will bloom indoors if given the correct amount of light etc.

There are many, many plants in the Gesneriad family (African Violet, Episcia, Streptocarpus etc that are grown indoors and bloom happily if given the right conditions: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/adv_search.php?searcher[com...

Hoya is another beautiful plant and will bloom if given the right conditions, and some are very fragrant: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/adv_search.php?searcher[com...

I'm sure other folks will come along shortly with many suggestions for you ... the list is endless.

I have a Dragon Wing Begonia that blooms all the time indoors. I have her very close to a west facing window in my living room that gets morning shade and afternoon sunlight coming through my window. She loves it there... The flowers are red in color...
I love this plant, very pretty...
Here is the link to it here in Dave's Garden. Best of luck, let us know what you end up getting.

One of my favorites is a "Crown of Thorns" euphorbia. Their flowers aren't big, but they're prolific bloomers, and when they're happy they can bloom year-round. Right now I have two pink ones, a white and a yellow - and an assortment on order from Glasshouse Works.

I've enjoyed the cyclamen. They can be purchased during Christmas time and into the first of the year. If you take proper care of them they can bloom for years.
