great article i am an addict as well, have not been for long and i have about 10 of them, but the one my mum gave me years ago, gets the pod things that momm is talking about unfortunately i have never taken a photo of it but it looks like a brown bean.
i will have to go hunting for further plants after seeing your article my god, some of those are beautiful, i am unsure if some of them are available in australia but if there here i will find them lol. i live in the tropics of north queensland and all of my hoyas hang out under my trees, they thrive in this environment and i can never wait for them to flower, i have 2 at the moment that just refuse, but the very nice lady that gave them to me told me that some hoyas have to be root bound before they will flower, so i will have to be patient and wait for this to happen.
have a great day

Hui; Just heard from my favourite gardener and he said in his native Japan these 'pods' can be on the plant for years. One of mine just opened and all manner of lovely little seeds with feathery 'parachutes' above came floating down. When I gave him a couple he said it might take years for them to gow but that he would try. More later on the progress. Thank you for the interest. Mommc
