Great article! 1 Need lg. shrubs or evergreens on grassy strip across st. from my condo, partly to help traffic noise. Now there are a mixture of evergreens & burning bushes. Would red twig be appropriate? Would need to exist w/o much supplemental watering.
Red-twig dogwoods are not fond of dry conditions...in the wild they typically grow along streams. Without regular irrigation during dry spells, they may suffer. Why aren't the current plants working? Too short?
