I fell heir to three grape vines spring before last. At the time, I had no place to put them and with the good intention of minimally potting them up they were put over with the rest of my potted plants waiting for a home. Both that first summer and this summer past there was leaf growth - obviously no fruit would form while constricted in gallon pots. But my question is: Does any know if it is worth it to put these plants into the ground now. Will they produce or am I just wasting space and time? If it matters, they are a Reisling grape (which makes a lovely wine!)
Thanks for anything and everything you can give me.
