We are the same way, we can only sleep for a little while if were lucky Sometimes I go days without sleep. I think Joanne sleeps for a little while, gets up and is able to go back to sleep. We often find each other on DG, all hours of the night. Kind-of funny!!!!

I wonder why this happens to us... my daughter has that twitching on her legs and it doesn't let her sleep, she goes days without sleeping also. Today they gave her some medication for it, so I hope she can get some sleep.. She's almost done with her RN degree and just needs her clinicals after this class.

I can't sleep during the day at all (unless I'm sick), other than that, I wish I could sleep all night every night.

see you in the middle of the night..lol

High Gourd!!! It's 11:59 here and , low and behold, I'm still awake!!!!!! It sounds like your beautiful daughter has "Restless leg syndrom". Which is extremely un-comfortable!!!!! Good for her. The meds for that usually work pretty fast!!!. And she should'nt have to take them very long. "Hopefully".! By the way..., I wish I could sleep all night too!. I haven't done THAT for YEARS!!!!!!! . On occasion, I get a night, but not very often!!!. I have learned how to rest my body and brain, so It doesn't effect me so much.. I am GOOD-TO GO!!!!!! Sleep tight!!! Good Night!!!!!!

I had been trying to get to sleep by 11PM and up at 8:AM, but that isn't happening...

DD did get a script for meds last week.. I haven't heard from her, so I assume she's been sleeping... i've got to call her.

Is the turtle done? pics, pics...please..

Really like that turtle, Loveshorses--- How much more have you got done? I haven't tried mosaics before, but I love them --- We have a stained-glass lamp (bought) , also a few other "hangings" for windows; my Mom used to do them. They are all so pretty when the light hits them just so! I saw those bowling balls, too---wow, they are all so unique. Don't you just love doing one-of-a-kind things?!

lovehorses - The turtle looks great! What a fabulous idea! I sometimes play with glass mosiacs and would like to put something like that in my little garden. However I did that once and in the winter it broke up and I could not repair it. What kind of grout should I have used? Does it matter?

It may be that the grout needed to be sealed at least once before it was put outside...

Hey all, Sorry I have been gone!!!! BEEN TERRIBLY BUSY!!!!! Humphrey, the turtle is done!!!! Unfortunately, my hubby has my canera in ShowLow, so I will not be able to post a picture for a while!!! He is, I must say, very sexy!!!! The turtle, not my husband!!! HEEEE HEEE. I used outside weather proof glue to adhere the glass. Then grouted him with sanded grout. Waited at least three days for grout to dry and then put three coats of weather proof sealer all over him. Even under his belly where I did not mosaic. I hope and pray that he winters good because the hours and work that went into him was ALOTTTTTTT!!!!. He was so heavy that it took two men to carry him to the garden!! It was fun though!! I can't wait to start my next project which will be either a bird bath, or a fire pit. I will keep you all posted. HOPEFULLY anyway!!!. And again, pictures will come when I get my camera back!!!!!. Have fun fellow mosaic'rrrss.

Too funny, loves , if my dh wants to use a camera , he can use mine IF I'm right there with him . lol Otherwise , he can go out and buy his own . I have been waiting to see that turtle , so hopefully , he hurries back . Did you buy the cement turtle , or did you cast it ? Is it cement ? D
