Hi all! I'd like to gather some opinions on staging my Mom's house for sale. It will have 3 main floor bedrooms & one basement bedroom, 2 1/2 baths, and it has almost a full acre yard. I sort of figured the target buyer group would be families with kids (finished basement for rec room/media room, and the large yard) but so far we've had 2 retired couples stop in & express an interest... word of mouth, I guess, as there's no For Sale sign yet. So-- not sure about target group anymore.

I'm ready to paint the master bedroom. Most of the rest of the house will be painted in neutrals, accented with a little color, but I'd like an actual paint color here. I know what I like, but I'd appreciate some across the board input on what others like. I want the master bedroom to look like a retreat (though it's not one of those huge suites) and I'd like it to look sexy, though definitely NOT bordello style red & black, or like some tacky Las Vegas hotel room! I don't want it to look too feminine, and I'd like it have some pop...but the kind of pop that doesn't shock or offend anyone.
So, what colors say, "Elegant, Sexy, Luxurious Haven" to you?

Thanks for any input!
