I truly started gardening 2 yrs ago, when I purchased my home (all on my own).
Wanting to rid myself of the pseudo lawn I have I dug up my entire front yard.
In the process I have attempted to grow several types of ground covers and have discovered which do well and which do not work well for my yard and where they do well.
I have read and reread many articles and if not for my "failures" I would not make what I call educated decisions about what to plant today and where they belong.
I know I have much more to learn, but that has been a lot of the joy of gardening. Discovering the bad and the good.

Many a time I have planted a new little plant only to threaten it with a severe spanking if it did not make it .

I know they just seem to have personality.
    Happy Gardening,
    Anita
