Hi,
I have a year old Cordyline australis 'Red Star" Potted plant and wanted to try and overwinter it this year. I live in NYC and brought it in prior to the last frost in the beginning of the winter season. I placed it in my basement and it receives florescent lighting daily. I've been watering it monthly or so and It's been doing OK, until just recently. A few weeks ago, the leaves started to brown and it started to look pretty dried out. I checked the soil, but it seemed to be enough water and didn't want to overwater. So I trimmed off the dead leaves off and it perked up, until yesterday when I noticed all the leaves look like they are wilting and the trunk area looks pretty white. I'm not sure how to save it?
Any suggestions?
