I assiduously label my plants. Then one of two things happens: I trip on them or I rake them! Now I've been trying the metal two-pronged labels using labelling tape and jammed them down to ground level. So far it's working better.

I do that, too! I've also started trying to take the time to make an extra label to stick down into the planting hole... at least I'll know what it is when it's time to dig & divide!
