I'm new to this so please forgive me if I'm asking a worn-out question, but where is the best place to buy open pollinated seeds?
I live in Michigan, in zone 5b.
Open pollinated seeds are the seeds that not only produce their 'fruit' but they also produce more seed to use the next year, right? Are open pollinated seeds always heirloom seeds or visa versa?
What are the best varieties of open pollinated seeds for my area - corn, beans, etc.?
Sure appreciate your help!! ...Boy am I every 'green' at this. :-[
