Here’s a link to see if you qualify for a Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac Modification and how to prepare for addressing your lender if you do not have a Federally Insured loan. Many lenders (not just HUD) are secured by one of these. This information is a determining factor in whether a borrower is eligible for the President’s Making Home Affordable plan.
