I remember Galliano - not sure if they still make it or not. I tended bar back in the late 70's - it's an Italian Liqueur http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galliano_(drink). I worked in an upscale restaurant and we used to make Golden Cadillacs out of Galliano. Havent' thought about them in years. Hmmmm... might be something nice to include at a holiday gathering.

Anyway - the lable on the bottle looks like the very same as when I was tending bar in the late 70's.

You have a Galliano bottle that looks like its the liter or 1.5L size. It is an Italian liquer made from lemons. It is used in lots of cocktails or chilled and drank straight with or without mint. Very refreshing during hot summer time.
