okay i give up white flag and all that ,, i have tried peat moss in dry enviroment ,tried saw dust in dry cool enviroment. have dried bulbs in side a shed in windows to get rid of moisture to keep from freezing,etc, i done basements with peat moss and developed growth. what is the *&^%$$#%$%^ key to salvageing tubes. fortunatly i can grow plants from seeds from t/m and have had very good luck but would like to salvage tubes. in zone7a and moisture is a way of life out here
