So, I'm a new gardener to N. Central FL and was going through color withdrawal in late November. Got sucked into buying some PW petunias at HD for hanging baskets which did really well until we hit some unusual 20 deg. nights in late January and I didn't protect them. Blossoms froze, but foliage seemed healthy although limp. Kept watering them & they not only bounced back, they went NUTS!
Planning on using them more next year WITH protection ;)
