I would certainly love to own, grow MORE of these wretched pests. They are not likely to become invasive "weeds" in many climates. Certainly not, where we live, "below the frost lines". Very beautiful plants. Thanks, Palmbob for your, again, good article. Just makes me feel bad, that I can barely keep my two foetida mediopicta looking good. Whine...

I wish I had known about the small plantlets on the blooms on this beautiful plant. A giant F. foetida bloomed last year near here; the plant is now completely gone but it was absolutely stunning.
Thanks for an as always fascinating article.
