Good morning! My parents got in at 8:30 last night. We met them at a Mexican restaurant and had dinner, so we all got to bed late. The poor little bunny had to get up at 7:15 to get ready for school. I dressed her like a baby - she barely even opened her eyes. LOL She perked up a bit after I gave her some grape juice and a bagel. She'll eat a real breakfast at school.

It's going to be a nice day today. For the rest of the week, there is a good chance of rain.

Speaking of rain, I'm sorry you didn't get more of it, Kelli!

Sharon, I'm glad your sale went so well. :-)

Dyson, I'm very glad you had such a good visit with your son and his family!! :-)

Ric, you and Robyn are amazing!

Pepper, your kitties are very cute. :-) We have two brother kitties, and they spend a lot of time "fighting", too. It's always fun to watch. LOL

Adina, I hope your dogs stay out of the spinach, too!

Celia, your new beds are going to look nice. I love that red arbor against the wall!

I'm ready to go back to bed, but instead I should be thinking about what to make for breakfast when Mom and Dad get up. :-) Have a great day, everyone!

I love gardening & it's my only true form of exercise!! hahahaha

I love all the pics..had to shave our Westies as it was getting too hot.. now they are like Prissy & just bask in the sun ( just like Prissy does!! hahahaha).

good morning! We're inTybee. It was cool and very windy yesterday but we enjoyed ourselves anyway--got behind a sand bar where we were sheltered by the wind and the kids made sand castles for two hours--:o))
We went to the marine science museum earlier in the afternoon and also went shopping at one of the local shops--expensive and touristy but what can you expect--it's a tourist town! LOL
Today we are renting bicycles for the 4 kids for the rest of the week.
Tomorrow we are going on a dolphin watch boat ride up at the north end of the island. We want to go into Savannah one day and take the trolley bus tour around the old downtown area. It is beautiful in old downtown Savannah--we came through it on our way to Tybee. Spanish moss on the trees, old buildings, etc., etc.
My internet connection just went south so I will try to get it back and hopefully I won't lose this post. BBL

Wellllll, I've only been able to take 2 loads today. The "brief rain" has turned out to be an all day affair. And the temps have dropped.

Now
Through 4 PM...scattered light showers continue to move through northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. The heavier showers will move into Lake Butler...Live Oak...Bryceville and White Springs. The showers are moving west to northwest at 10 to 15 mph. Rainfall amounts will be light...less than one tenth of an inch in most areas.

"Whatever" to the weather liars LOL!

Chilly and very, very windy. We have wind advisories and flash flood warnings out here right now. Storms in KS heading our way.

We had to brace the greenhouse at work today with pallets of mulch and on the inside we put sandbags on the shelves to help hold the greenhouse down. If we didn't do that then it would have blown across I-70 to the restaruant across the way. It's that strong.

First robin sighting of the season. I heard them about a week before seeing them.

Sitting in the middle of a huge low pressure area. Raining lots on north side, Fargo, ND area. Snowing in South Dakota. We had nice rain yesterday & overnight. Plenty of wind, no problem this time of year.
We may get some snow when the system moves to the NE.
One weather guy said it was an onland hurricane. Not that bad though. Just that it covers such a large area. peppers wind was from same system.

in 2006 I gave a person a bid on 24 kitchens in some low income apartments. At that time they were getting some funding for updating. The government fooled around so long, that by the time the money was available, the roof & parking lot project costs had went up so much, (oil price being high), there was no money left for the inside work.
He called yesterday & said they were ready to start on the remodels. They are doing 2 units right now & planning 4 each year for 6 years.
I am waiting for a call back on my bid. He has an elderly father that actually owns the buildings, so he must approve.

Breakfast is ready.

Yesterday was an interesting windy day. Many reports of gusts up to 62 mph. KHP reports 8 tractor-trailers blown over, either empty or very light loads.

One of the main streets in the south end of town had power poles snapped off & closed that street down. It was an interesting day.

There is a possibility of snow later this week & this is spring in central Kansas.

Last night's eruption has not spread ash this direction.
20 years ago, when it last erupted, there was lots of ash here and I have a bit that I'd collected. It was winter, so I let the snow melt through a coffee filter. The resulting ash was then put in a bottle.
Good news, Bernie.

50F under mostly cloudy skies this evening. The 10 day forecast calls for a mix of rainy and sunny days with highs from the low 40's to 50

I have managed to get most of my spring clean-up finished. It's amazing how much debris can fall from the trees or blow in over the winter. It's all been raked and run through the shredder, ready to become compost. I attended a 3 day photography conference in Niagara f\Falls over the past weekend. I learned a ton of information from a host of great speakers. Hopefully I'll be able to retain some of it!

Ric...Looking good! I love tile floors.

Adina...Awesome colors!

Bernie...Congrats on the kitchen jobs. 24 complete kitchens is a lot of job security.

Sharona...Moving the computer? This is serious! Looks like the big move is almost complete.

Kiska...I was listening to the radio late last week and they said the "experts" had lowered the threat risk for the volcano. Next thing I hear the thing had blown it's top!

Photo: I spent last Thurs. evening working in the yard and awoke on Friday morning to find a nice coating of snow covering everything.

Mau: We crossed...lots of dophins around there. We saw so many of them near Hilton Head last fall when we were visiting my brother in Bluffton.

When we head to Brunswick next week, I am taking our builder one of my Bloodgood RM trees. I grew about 30 of them from seedlings under the "mama" tree. They are in pots and about 3 to 4 ft tall now and just starting to bud out. We are going to take him a tree and we are going to bring back shrimp!!! Not a bad exchange as far as I can see LOL

March is starting to go out like a lamb. Boy, has it been windy! We're at 41* with cloudy skies. A chilly day so far.

Sharon, a gorgeous color to start a new thread with!

Marylyn and Mau, it's nice to be able to spend time with family.

Kiska, I'm so glad the ash hasn't caused you any problems!

Sharon, I hope you have no trouble moving.

Adina, that was a gorgeous red sunset!

Pepper, are you back at the greenhouse again?

Ric, the floors are going to look great! I envy everyone their new rooms and houses, sigh...

Kwanjin, that is a very pretty color on your hellebore. It's subtle, but speaks volumes. Did you plant them or were they there when you bought the house? I wish I had a tiller! It's on my wish list.

Country, sounds like you are staying busy!!

Hello Petralittledog! I've been gone for a while and can't remember greeting you yet.

Marsue, I felt the urge to snap a sunrise the other day too! Lovely wildflowers.

Yayyy Bernie!!

Sharon ~ ~ waving to you and Gary!

I love your pictures Early! Especially the black gold! I hear you there!

Flipflops, another house buyer! Congratulations!! That is so wonderful!!

Pepper, I love blueberries! We'll need pictures of fruit if you get any this year!

Ric, Wu really makes the colors pop, LOL! Robin did a nice job!

Mau, sounds like you are having fun! I love lighthouses!

Flipflops, you and DH's enthusiasm is catching! I'm so excited for you! YUM YUM!

You poor thing, Sharon. I have found that my worst moves are the ones that are closest together. It was much harder to move from one apartment to another in the same complex than it was to move from Ohio to Texas.. I'm not sure why... I hope you all get settled in much more smoothly, and that Callie comes out on her own!

I'm going to be at a conference in Virginia this weekend, so I've been busy doing laundry and packing. Right now Grandma is "doing science" with the big bunny. They are sorting animals into classes (mammals, reptiles, amphibians, etc...) I can hear lots of giggling coming from the dining room, so apparently it's either going well, or sillily (is that a word? LOL)

It's been raining off and on today, and it is expected to continue until Saturday. It's supposed to rain all weekend in Virginia, which is a shame. I was hoping to be able to do some hiking/exploring after the conference sessions. Ah, well... Hopefully I'll have some good - if soggy - photos of the Blue Ridge Mountains when I get back. :-)

Lots of crocus up and blooming, daffs are in bud. Temps in the mid-40's all day. Supposed to warm up tomorrow. Spring is springing and I have got two wheelbarrow loads of crap out of the back garden. LOL

Cold and wet!! Snow coming in tonight, tomorrow and Saturday at different times. Saturday is supposed to be a big snow but I haven't heard the amounts yet. I think they are afraid to mention the amounts.

I had to water hanging ferns this morning at work. Not fun when the hose isn't long enough. Every time I picked up the ferns to hang them back up I got drenched from the water draining out the pots. Wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been so cold. My hands were red and quite swollen from the cold. I lasted about an hour out there this morning watering and picking off dead leaves then I ran inside. lol. I was pretty soaked on my right side. Luckily I dried off pretty quickly and warmed up soon enough when I was stocking.

Happy Birthday, seeds. Am I to late for cake ?

Cold day today, topped out at 34.
I was on another mission. First I delivered a small shelf unit to the lady that is redoing the whole house. She was very happy.
Met with 2 clients. Found out the flip house is sold. Not to bad, flip guy took possession February 6. Completely remodeled & sold by March 20.
We get balance of the money for our work at closing. Yeah!
(I'll spend it all on garden & flowers!) LOL!

Another client said he bought a small farm. He was showing me pictures & we came to the conclusion that the kitchen will need new doors & drawers. Yeah again!
He has a nice place, 5 acres, but can not have his horses there. So in disgust with that rule he is going to move. Looks to me the new place will be better suited to his horses.

Also stopped for chicken feed & some smalls at the lumber yard.

Between early morning & this evening, I have all the pieces made for the cabinet boxes for the apartment job. Tomorrow I will start gluing up the boxes.
Afternoon I will take a road trip. Need to stop at 2 potato growers for seed potatoes. Then on to the hardwood lumber store for a big load.

Oh, almost forgot a man called this afternoon & ordered a special piece of oak for his bathroom cabinets. We delivered new doors & drawer fronts to him last week. He needs this piece to complete his project.

All I have left to do is put finishing touches on a quote on 3 cabinets for a local person. I need to deliver that in the morning.

nice tile floor, ric;Robyn is a talented lady. My daughter rented a small jackhammer and tore out the tile floor in her foyer recently to make room for a new one. The males on the job were very impressed. :o))

Yesterday was partly cloudy and windy but still pleasant enough but too windy to stay at the beach. We went to downtown Savannah instead for a carriage ride through the old city. It is beautiful!

This is our last full day of vacation--heading back home tomorrow--sniff, sniff. Other than butting heads with a stubborn teen=age granddaughter a couple of times, we have all really enjoyed ourselves. Hurt feelings were mended rather quickly, though. :o))

I haven't been able to meet up with Sharon--sniff, sniff--she has had a hard time with her move this week so things just didn't work out for her to drive up here which I completely understand.

Marsue: Thanks for the pictures. I love Savannah and will be able to drive up there in about an hour once we move the end of this month. I like the picture with you in it so I can see a fellow DG. I am sorry you and Sharon couldn't get together too.

Sharon: I hope your ankle is feeling better and you are making progress on your move. I am getting really stressed out about us moving so quick, but somehow we will get this done.

Kiska: I worry about you up there with that volcano. Please take care of yourself and your family.

Bernie: So happy about some of your work from the flip house paying off.

Ric: Your plants are really looking good!!!

Dyson: Do you think it will warm up and spring come to stay in Virginia??? All it's going to take is a couple of warm days and some sun shine and my dogwoods will be in full bloom. Would like for them to open all the way so I can send y'all a picture. This will be my last time enjoying them. But there are so many other beautiful things down where we are going and Mau saw on her trip to Savannah.

Got to run and will catch up with y'all later. Still gloomy and overcast and damp. Think the sun is coming out tomorrow.

Sharon, how are you feeling today? Better, I hope.

Bernie, working hard as ever. You do wonderful work. I've got my fingers crossed that, when we move, we'll find some one to do that kind of quality work for us.

FlipFlops, I missed something along the way. Did your house sell? I would LOVE to have dogwoods here but we don't have enough shade for them. I can't wait for pics.

33*, cloudy and a cold breeze, but I hung a load of towels and pillowcases out anyway.

Seeds, sounds like an all around nice birthday!

Dyson, wishing warm winds your way. Wishing them for myself. We're to get snow tomorrow.

Ric, lovely flowers! Nice creamy yellow tulips are so pretty.

Flipflops, loved the cha cha cha! Happy packing to you!

Pepper, I hope you don't get buried. I couldn't have stood the cold water!

Bernie, amazing to sell the flip house so fast! You're an amazing worker!

Kiska, I hope you can avoid the ash. Do they have any breathing reports, like bad pollution days? Good to get heavy snow off roofs!

Mau, yayyy for your daughter's talents too! A carriage ride sounds wonderful! Nice vacation pictures. It is too bad about Sharon.

Kwanjin, you're thinking about moving too? I sometimes wish I could, but we have the house weatherized, metal roofs, vinyl siding and about how we want it. It only took 33 years so we better stay put. I love the center of the hellebore!

Sharon, good thoughts coming your way! Take care of yourself!

Kiska, I hope the ash doesn't come over your place...grrrr, seems scary! Is the volcano still erupting? Love the picture of the snowy mountains. It's great the snow begins to melt from your house.

Still had about 11/4 of a cake left and a box of ice cream leftover and it was quickly consumed by more family guests who couldn't make it on Thursday. I love birthdays!

Cold and miserable here. We don't have a clue what the weather is gonna do now. There is warm air high up in the atmosphere that is making it hard to figure out if it is gonna rain or snow. If the air drops below freezing tonight we will get up to10 inches of snow. If it waits til tomorrow afternoon we will get rain then it will turn over to snow and will only get half the snow. I will know for sure when I wake in the morning. If I see green grass, temps stayed up and we don't get so much snow. If I see white then I'm gonna dig out all my winter gear.

Sedum 'Jose Aubergine' is one I've been looking for Pepper.
Care to trade cuttings?
I have dozens of Stonecrop...

Cool cloudy and blah here.
We're loading up for a trip to the Remodel.
Today we're dooing a Bernie and hanging cabs.
Oh and rocking a ceiling too.

Off to the salt mines.

Adina and all Thanks from Robyn.
And we are taking a break here soon.
I have a 4 day Easter weekend planned.
Then there's the Cincy Flower Show on a 3 day weekend.

35* windy and cold! Waiting for it to rain.

Adina, we grew peaches from seeds and you're right. We're looking for fungicide spray this year. They are really good peaches tho. No idea what kind, or if they're true from seed, but I doubt it. Nice shelves! They really hold a lot. Gorgeous red blooms!

Kiska, eagles are always nice to look at. We see more now than we ever did before. They're all over! Laughing, it's almost like he's looking in a store mirror with three images :o)

Dyson, hope you figure it out. Ask your smart phone?

Seeds, sounds like you had a great birthday turn-out!

Pepper, now do you know what the weather is going to do? :o)

Adina, sweet or sour cherry? Was the tree already there or did you plant it? I love cherries and they are very good for you! Glad the pups are ok!

Bernie, it's ''brutally'' cold here because of the wind!

Sharon, sending healing thoughts your way.

Sidewalk chalk and Grandma's pretty tree!

kiska that ash should bring a nice bit of fertilizer to the areas affected... in moderation.
I imagine the acidity in the runoff won't be good though.

Mau it's great to see you guys enjoying yourselves.
It's been a tough year and you all certainly deserve it.

Pepper I'll DMail you

Celia that's an amazing Sharpshin shot.
We have them here too.
One almost smacked me in the head as I walked between the garages.
They hammer the bird feeder next door...
usually sitting on our entryway to pick off the birds.

Cool and Drizzling Rain here.
43 (Wind Chill 34)
After today Spring will reappear... mid upper 60's days... low/mid 40's nights.

Another long day yesterday.
We left at 8:30 after loading the car.
FULL load this time...tools, Hardibacker and 2 x 4's.
Got home at 10 PM.
The LR ceiling is rocked and first coat of mud on.
Base cabinets on the outer wall side are in ... 3 of the 4 uppers also.
Next weekend we'll finish the cabs and get the countertop on, sink in and plumbed.
Maybe demo the bathroom and get it framed and rocked. Small room only one wall to do.

They are up sanding the mud and adding the second coat today.
By the time we get up Saturday next the LR should be about done.

Ric, I never heard of sanding the first coat. I don't sand until the last coat is good & dry.
I always finish it so it can be painted & not textured.

About done with horse trailer cabinets. Owner is coming out today to hook up all the wiring before it all gets hid. Should be done by Wednesday or so.

My son is cutting up face frames on the apartment cabinets. I have the upper boxes done. Parts for base cabinets are cut out. I need to dado for bottoms & shelves, then glue them together.
Nice, there are no lazy susans or corner cabinets to do.
Ground froze again overnight, so now the temp is 38 & the ground is getting slimmy.

Well Bernie I left my wide mud knife at home yesterday.
And they used a sticky tape and the premixed mud was a tad wet... so there's some slump... and none of them are really that experienced...so...
They are sanding up the sharper bits and then adding another coat and feathering w/ the wider knife my nephew brought up today.
I usually use regular tape and I agree no sanding until it's done but I was hanging cabs...
Most of the sanding going on is just of the nail holes and dings left by ripping off the paneling.
They were actually patched last weekend... then they'll be priming.
Getting the rock up right was my main priority. Mud I can tweak...LOL!

I bought a banjo tape dispenser at an auction one time. I only paid $15. They are near $80 new. That applies paper tape by putting mud on the side going on the wall. Saves lots of time & is a 200% better job when done. I usually run the machine & my son smooths it out & takes away the excess mud. Only spots that need to be fixed before the second coat is where some mud gets where it's not supposed to be.
We both worked on commercial construction for a number of years. Never did any taping there but watched how the pros did it. We will never be as fast as those guys were.

Just got a call from a person wanting a built in gun safe. Sounds like a challenge!

Been watching some of the remodels & things on HGTV. Sure would be nice if I could charge prices like they are quoting. I would never have the phone ring. One was $43,000 for cabinets & new appliances. Looked like a $10,000 job to me.

But I hardly ever mud anymore so...
In the hands of a pro they are awsome though!

Yeah I know what you mean about the HGTV prices.

Celia, the doggies have been neutered on Saturday...maybe you remember I wanted to do that a few months ago. I found an organization for Animal Protection who would have spayed the doggies for free, but they are doing it in association with the city hall only and the mayor should have provided food and shelter for the vets who would have stayed in the village and neuter all doggies in the village. Since the mayor delayed all this and did nothing, the Momma dog had other puppies in January, but they all died. My other DG friends on Pets asked me if they could help me with money so I could neuter the doggies ASAP. Of course I said Yes and they sent me enough money to neuter all 5 doggies left arround my house! It was a gift from Heaven, from some very special Angels! I contacted a vetspital and they had an ambulance which came for the doggies and brought them back neutered. Now you know the whole story!
The picture above was with all doggies after they came from the vetspital. I had to make some special"dresses" for the girls so their wound can heal well, without getting infected. Now they are still in my yard, getting well after the surgeries.

I'm way behind after a full day on the road (16 hours)then resting up yesterday. I'll try to catch up but please forgive me if I leave somebody out.
Ric: hope the remodel goes well on on Robyn's parents house and that you are able to sell it quickly once you are finished.
Kiska: once you get the ash fused between the two pieces of glass, please take a photo for us all to see--and stay safe!
Adina: Glad the doggies are feeling better--how nice that your DG friends were able to help out with the expense of having the neutering done--DGers are great! My little sidekick Friday is getting neutered next week while I am at my daughter's house. Their vet is $50.00 cheaper than my vet down here in Cabot. Since I am going to be at my daughter's house all next week anyway, I might as well save the money and have Friday neutered up there.
Sharon: glad the move is over and you all survived. Sorry we didn't get to meet in person but, hey, I understand perfectly about how it is with moving! I do want to move to Harrison to be with my daughter but I'm not looking forward to the moving process at all!
Pepper: this has been a crazy season for wierd weather--it snowed in NW Arkansas over the week-end, but not where I live--although the temp was down in the 40's for a high on Saturday. That was hard to come home to after being at the beach for a week!
BP: your grandkids sure look comfy in that sleeping bag :o))
Kelli: what a pretty tulip!

As I said earlier, we came home to some chilly weather but it was warmer yesterday afternoon--up in the 60's and supposed to be up to 72 today. I need to get out and do some weeding but they are showing my house this afternoon so I will have to leave for awhile--that's okay--I can't sell it if they don't show it!

Poor Friday was exhausted after being at the pet boarders for a week. When I brought him home he promptly jumped up on the couch and went to sleep but not until he gave his "mama" lots of kisses! I can't find the photo just now--it's somewhere on my new laptop downloaded with a new photo program. I am still learning my way around it. I'll post it once I find it--LOL
Everyone have a good day--I have to tidy up the house a bit--still a little bit of vacation stuff to put away.

In fact, I was going to keep them inside th ehouse, but since it was so warm outside and no rain , the vet said it was better if Iet them all outside.
Today we had the vet coming over to visit his pacients. He was in the neighborhood and had to come and see how the doggies were doing! He is so nice! He found me while changing the girls dresses and he looked at their wounds and at their behavior, saying they are doing great!

Flip Congratulations on the contract! May your move be much easier than ours!
Kiska So glad Redoubt hasnt affected your area in a bad way. I love your sisters idea of the ash and glass, the eagle and moose pics! Be sure to post a pic of the final project.
Adina The people on DG are the best! Im so glad you were able to get all the doggies taken care of. Your greenhouse is looking great!
Sally Sweet pic of your GKs!
Kelli Your tulip is beautiful.
Celia I have cuts and bruises in the most unlikely places. I keep trying to figure out what caused them, but then I think do I really care? LOL! I cleaned that danged house on Saturday, Then went to the grocery store for food. Im standing in the check outline and looked down. I had dirt and bruises all over. The checkout girl looked at me like she thought I was a bum. That evening I was standing outside our beast of a truck talking to Gary. I moved one way and hit the side of my knee on the trailer hitch bam a new bruise. I walked to the drivers side of the truck and hit my shoulder on the rearview mirror another new bruise! A little later I was taking a shower and the whole showerhead fell off the wall and hit me on my head! Thunk! I still have a small cut and bruise there hidden by my bangs. This was all within a one-hour time frame. I have to laugh otherwise Id start crying LOL! The best was the day I was at WalMart when check out girl asked me how I was doing I told her I was all beat and banged up. I laughed, then looked behind me and saw a Nassau County Sheriff looking at me like he was ready to arrest my husband! I had to explain the situation

Chilly and mostly cloudy today. Rain coming in tonight and supposed to rain all day tomorrow. After all the stuff we had Sat we really don't need the rain right now. We can't til for our gardens til the ground dries up.

Good Morning!

I was going to start a new thread, but will wait until tomorrow, April 1. Wow - it's almost April!

Thanks Cindylove!
Ric - Robyn is definitely a woman of all trades! I like being able to do handy things around the house, although there are some things I'm not good at and I know it LOL!
Pepper - I hope the rain slacks off for you - send it our way.

Today
Partly cloudy in the morning...then mostly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers in the afternoon. High 72. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

Here is the livingroom, so far...still have work to do there. The pet "thingy" will be moved into the "office". That is Callie's backside you see in it. Prissy wanted to play. The chandelier on the floor to the left was the cream colored one over the dining room table at the old house. I've painted it a flat black. It will go in the breakfast nook. I'm going to paint the table in the breakfast nook a flat black also this weekend then distress it. I purchased 2 short bar stools for the kitchen that will be painted then distressed this weekend (weather permitting). Meanwhile I'm looking for cushions for all of the seats. Plans, plans, plans! I'll post a pic of the kitchen later.

I think it is raining. I'll see when it gets daylight.
Busy ordering seeds & plants. Need to call Dixondale plants & order onion plants this morning. Ordered a bunch of seed the last few days. I have a place I can buy things by the pound. It takes a lot of seed to do 5 acres!

Busy with the cabinets. Work keeps coming in.

We are busy updating our electric to the outbuildings & also putting in new & bigger water lines at the same time. They both go underground, so use the same trench. The water lines can only be used when no freezing temperatures abound. The trenches are shallow, so the water would freeze in the lines. When fall comes, we unhook the lines & blow the water out with the air compressor.

Big snow storm up around the flood area of NW MN & Eastern ND. The water is going down, but could go up again when the snow starts to melt again.

Granddaughter is in dance & yesterday had to get all dolled up for pictures.

Have a Great Day!

LOL, Sharon, at your description of the bumps and bruises--sounds like it was a "comedy of errors"--much like our trip home on Saturday--after 3 wrong turns it only took us 16 hours to get home from GA instead of 13! LOL Your new place is looking great! I saw some yard art at one of the little shops on Tybee Island that was really neat--the person had used the arms off a chandelier like the brass one in your pic and put them on a "person" he sculpted out of various objects. Maybe you could use your chandelier for a project like that.
Ric: I've said it before but I'll repeat myself: Robyn is one talented lady!
It's raining here today, too, pepper. Guess I won't be doing any weeding today but the rain will make the ground soft which will make it easier to do some weeding once the rain stops.

"They" were supposed to show my house yesterday but I don't think anyone showed up. The lights were still on when I got back home and there was no real estate card on the countertop. It really makes me angry when I vacate the place only to find out nobody 'showed'. GRRRR!

I have to vacate the place for a couple of hours again today. My real estate lady is having an open house specifically for other real estate agents to see the place so they will know if any of their clients might be interested. She also has a video of the house on their website.

Y'all have a good day, whatever the weather is where you live!

The fresh snow gave the ash covered snow a clean look.
We didn't go outdoors when the ash was falling, so breathing was ok. We do have masks should the need arise.

Bernie Your GD is beautiful!
Mau thats quite all right! I have to laugh too. LOL! This chandelier belongs to the owner so its getting wrapped and placed in the attic along with the dated ceiling fans and blinds in the kitchen. How did the showing go today?
Celia I missed the info on your brother. What happened? I am glad he is doing well.
Adina LOL! The chandelier is dated and is showing some serious signs of wear. It hasnt been taken care of over the years and its too small for the furnishings. Im going to Home Depot and Lowes this weekend to see if I can find something that fits the room better.
Kelli I hope you are feeling better. Does it have anything to do with the root canal? The blooms are very pretty and send me some lemons!

I have plants in the yard that I dont know the names. There are birdcalls Ive never heard. Butterflies I never saw at the old house. Im only 4 miles South of where we used to live LOL!

Thank you, Cindy, and I know what you mean about needing more room. On the other hand, we can't keep weeded what we have.

Sharon, it would appear that the ailment has to do with a buildup of too much of a medication I am taking. I didn't take it today and I feel some improvement. I hope that's the answer. I was tested for thyroid and anemia and it isn't either of those.

Grandpas are supposed to brag, right?
She is only in kindergarten & can read almost anything. She actually figured out how to read on her own by sounding out the words.
So far she hasn't got bored with school. I think she will do great.

It was snowing for a while this late afternoon & evening. Temp is now 33.

We are traveling to Minneapolis in the morning. Some construction company went belly - up & their assets are being sold on an online auction. Tomorrow is a day to go look at the items. My DD & SIL are going to build onto their house, so need a bunch of stuff. Hope to save some $.
I have my eye on a few things, too.
