Good Morning Everyone, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question or even if it's allowed so forgive me if this is not proper etiquette, but I'm wondering if there is an easy way to find folks in my area, Zanesville, Ohio who would be willing to do local trades for houseplants/cuttings in order to save postage? Is this an acceptable question? Thanks in advance.

I don't think there's anything wrong with posting that here, but I'm not sure how many people who frequent this forum will be that close to Zanesville. There are regional forums on here and if you post on the one that includes Ohio you will probably have better luck, but I think those forums are typically only open to subscribers. Another thing you could try is on the "extras" tab there is a feature to find other DG'ers in your area--you could do that and then look at their tradelists, and if they've got some interesting things then you can contact them to arrange a trade. (I'm not positive if non-subscribers can access the extras though so if you don't find it that's probably why)

There are a few folks on the Midwest Gardening forum from Ohio...the traffic on that forum is really slow, though!

Another idea is, if your server has it's own Bulletin Board they might have a Gardening forum on it? (My server does.)

There you go...an Ohio 'Roundup'!

Haven never been to a Roundup...but read others' reports of great plants and great fun, not to mention many newly cultivated great friendships!
