its a rca victor radio model number 29k2
dose anyone have any history on it
rca victor radio
it plays, but all that comes on is spanish ,not sure why that is every where i turn it thats what it is
Probably 'cause of your zip code. Up here you would get every kind of country & bluegrass that you never knew there was.... You need to look up the am radio stations in your area and figure out a selection. My Grandad cut tiny thin slivers of colored tape and put them on the display so that he could easily change between his favorite stations. It just looked like blue pen marks over "his" stations.
on all my other radios i get everything, this only have
wor, wjz, wgy, wtry, woko, and waby, but will give that a try
Might be that one of your booster tubes is out and it only boosts in a narrow range of what it receives. I'm talking way over my head here, but it seems "fixable". You might just need to call around to different repairmen to see if one can help you.
Edited to add: I'm trying to get ok at research on the web. I found some repair shops in your general area:
