You folks have given me the peony bug. I just signed up for 3 years to the American Peony Society.
One of their links is to the Heartland Peony Society which has a section on grafting true tree peony
buds to lactiflora roots with detailed drawings as to how to make the cuts and splices. We had a
discussion on another thread briefly covering this topic but this is "straight from the horse's mouth"
as we say in the country. Good info if you are shelling out the big bucks for some of the more
exotic cultivars. The planting tips are worth the read time.
