My brother gave me this plant and told me I could use it in cooking. I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to plants and this plant says it is an ornamental wildlife herb. Is it purely ornamental or can you eat it? Help...

Does the tag have a specific name on it? If so, post it, and we can help you determine if it is an edible sage, or some variation of salvia, which is generally used as an ornamental.
