We bought a barn from Craig's List. It is a nice metal pole barn, 25 x 30 feet. It has a metal roof too. On one end, it has a lean-to also made from metal siding that will be our new bunny residence hall. We also bought 4 horse stall doors on Craig's List and the plan is to set up 4 stalls inside this barn, and use the rest for hay storage. The stalls will be for llamas with crias or for lambing time. I'm pretty excited about it. We had priced out a new barn like this one at around $12 to $15K, but we got this one (including delivery) for $4500. It's only 3 years old and was used to store equipment. Now they are building a larger one and they needed this one to be gone. Perfect timing for us.
Here it is - we just got the frame put up this morning but now the storm is coming in so we are quitting for now.
The floor will be a dirt floor or we might get some of the livestock mats, but we didn't want a concrete floor as it is not that great for the llamas or sheep to be standing on for a long time.
