Hello everyone, I am a 1st-time poster here. Well, it was a last-minute thing, but I bought 4 pepper plants after I realized that I had several extra pots on hand (min 5 gal each.) The local garden center stocks Chef Jeff plants, so I bought:
- California Wonder (front and center)
- Serrano
- Big Bertha
- Better Belle (not pictured.)

What do ya'll think about the California Wonder? It seems a bit too yellowish and I can barely see the buds just wanting to come out. The other plants already have flowers and the Serrano plant even has 4 peppers. I bought all 4 plants on March 22nd when they were maybe 5" tall, now they are around 7-8" tall. Weather's been nice- 70's during the day and 50's - low 60's at night. There was a cool front or 2 where it got down to the low - mid 40's,and I brought the plants indoor for a couple of days when night temps were borderline 40's/30's, otherwise they stayed outside. I potted them in a mix of potting soil, a few cups of composted cow manure and Texas greensand. I used fish emulsion as well (1 application thus far.)

Anyway, I am so new to peppers it is not even funny. But, I am sooo addicted. Thanks again for your input!
