I've got several kinds of peppers that are 24 days old. The leaves are very wide and they are in net pots in coconut coir. Growing hydroponically right now, I guess you could sort of call it.
I've got some of my seeds from Parks:
Carmen
Karma
Big Whopper Banana
Sweet Baby Pickling Christmas Tree
And Darkmoondreamer sent me some of her Numex Twilights.
The ones listed above are the ones in this picture that are getting so big now, but are really young.
I've got Chili De Arbol and a generic Jalapeno that was sent to me by an ebayer when I ordered some pots from them, so I don't know how big that plant is going to be. Those two just sprouted today.
How old do I need to allow the plant to get before I plant them in their permanent homes of 7 and 5 gallon sized pots? Around 7 or 8 weeks old? Or is it the size that determines that decision?
My temps are still in the mid to upper forties at night. Is that too cold for them to be outside?
