I have some Freesias in a pot and I reckon it's time to plant them after they bloom this year (they have buds now). When and where should I put them in this climate? The only place that gets partial shade is under our pine trees, where, of course, there is a lot of pine needle mulch. Will this do? They will get late afternoon sun there, but nothing harsh while they are blooming in the Spring. I have some native Irises there now and they have not bloomed yet (this is their second year). Advice?
