I am replacing a Toro 21" self-propelled mower. I have about 1/3 of an acre, part zoysia, part regular grass. I like to leave it rather high, not like a golf course. I also bag the clippings and use them in the flower beds as mulch.

I would like an aluminum deck, a mower that bags well without clogging all the time, and reliability. It would be nice to have a mower with an engine that doesn't cut off each time I empty the bag.

I'll go with self-propelled or without self-propelled. Not a riding mower.

I would appreciate advice on makes and models to look for. Thanks.
