I have found white vinegar to be very effective at eliminating the odor of skunks, both on my terrier and everything she came into contact with in the house. I used this several times a summer as Brandy had a passion for investigating skunks and then running to the house howling. The acid in the vinegar works to neutralize the odor almost immediately.
I greatly enjoy all your articles with special thanks for everything you write about cactus, succulents and aloes. I don't have the collect you have but I do have quite a few. Some now have names thanks to your pictures and articles.
