I have a Passiflora that needs some mending. The base of the vine where it is woody has broken partially. About 1/2 of the stalk is severed and not joined to the rest of the plant. I am afraid that the large runners that originate from this stalk will die once it is completely severed. The plant does not show any sign of slowing down due to this but, I am guessing it will soon enough.
Does anyone have any suggestions for possibly mending/supporting/helping the damaged area?
Thank you
