Hi guys! I'm interested in planting a "hedge" border along my privacy fence. I'm trying to do some research to see what will work here. I'm considering hydrangea, azalea, peonies? But, I wasn't sure if and of the peony varieties would do well in open shade? The fence will shade the area in the morning, and there are some maples in the area that will provide some shade in the hot afternoon. I'm just wondering how they would fare in this area.
Thanks!
