My girls just turned 8 and 9.
They have been asking a lot of questions.
The hospital here has a mother daughter brunch about 3 times a year and they have a class where a nurse gives a discussion and maybe some pamphlets or something. But it is only for girls 10-13.
Thing is I don't think we can hold it off another year or two.
Are they too young? If so how do I stall the questions?
I'm kind of clueless where to start with this because frankly I was not expecting this for a couple more years, and I don't want to give *too* much info, or overwhelm them with stuff they won't understand.

The hospital says that there is an American Girls book, that addresses puberty issues and body changes ect. Has anyone used that?
But what about sex? My nine year old has been asking me what 'sexing' is, and why boys are different, and where babies come from, and on an ON ...
She came home from school yesterday and wants to know the meaning of a variety of not so proper words if you catch my drift... Well she heard them on the bus no doubt, and my 14 yr old neighbor boy told her two days ago to suck his...I am calling the sheriff this afternoon to see if anything can be done about that one...
Tips, please! I am desperate! I am also going to the library. maybe that will help...
