Trachycarpus Fortunei is supposed to be one of the hardest palms.I had one in a pot for several years.Put it in my unheated sunroom for the winter. It would get down to 20 degrees in there in the coldest part of the winter.Last summer,I planted it the ground.Mulched it very heavy for the winter. Will it come back?Did it make it?Time will tell. Its really only hardy to zone 7.Anybody else in zone 6 or colder trying it.
