Hi Toni, I am new to Dave's garden and looking for help. I have been searching for Silvery Sunproof Liriope discovering it is more difficult than I thought to find. I have this wonderful plant in Oklahoma but have not been successful in my search in Nashville, TN. If you have any suggestions as to where I might find it, I would be very grateful.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

    Hi Lilirosa...Welcome to Dave's!

As far as I can tell, parts of TN are in zone 7 which is the minimum zone for Silver Sunproof Liriope. You can probably purchase the plant through mail order, but might have to give it extra winter protection.

My father in law in Tulsa has tons of this beautiful ground cover and, believe me, I am sooooo jealous!

    good luck,
    Toni

Thanks for your help Toni, you have pretty well answered my question. I guess I will just have to bring to Nashville some of Oklahoma's Silver Sunproof on my next trip and see how it does here. The climate does not seem that much different to me except for the higher humidity here in TN. It is definitely worth giving a try.
