Last spring I purchased a 6 pack of plants that had the tag " Nierembergia hybrid" Summer Splash-Patio White; the tag said it was an annual, It grew very little last year and may have had 12 blossoms total on the plants. Since it was an annual I just noted not to waste money on it again. Well, surprise of surprises, this spring I discover it is coming back as a woody stemmed plant. What is it and will it survive for years or just disappear over time?
