Hi TwoWillies,

It's been brought to our attention that the beans in this photo may not be Orca, (or Yin Yang or Calypso as apparently they are synonymous).

The photos we can find of this variety has the definite Orca whale or Yin Yang look to them with very defined edges and minimal spots.

Do you, or anyone else have any thoughts on this, and if it's not Orca/Yin Yang/Calypso, what type it could be?

Many of these beans have multiple synonyms from what I've seen. The beans I have taken pictures of were purchased from Purcell Mountain Farms. They have a large selection of various heirloom beans.
