Sharon, my husband's family is from eastern Ky and your stories of your childhood, family and of searching for those treasured plants are so familiar to me. I enjoy each one so much. Thanks for keeping it real. Devota in East TN

Hi Devota,
Nice to hear from you. We used to drive very nearly straight down to your area, too, looking for one of Dad's favorite fishing holes! Actually he did come to Norse Lake a couple of times every year. It is also a beautiful area.

Thanks for writing, I am glad you can share some of my memories.
