Mom used to give us a 12 oz glass of watercress juice every week. She would stand there watching us, making sure we didn't spit or dump the elixir. Oh how I dreaded and hated this ritual! Today, I am convinced that her vile concoctions are the reason my brother and I enjoy such great health.

PS: I have to admit, I never developed a love for watercress...
I have watercress growing in my spring overflow pond but haven't used any of it, fearing contamination. I love cream of watercress soup but I don't like it raw in salads. I cannot imagine drinking a whole glass of the juice!
